Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns real name is “Leati Joe Anoa’i”. But Roman Reigns is his ring name. He is a professional wrestler from America. He belongs to the famous wrestling family “Anoa’i”. He is famous for his appearance on “WWE Raw” or “Monday Night Raw”. Roman Reigns also played football in past as a Canadian. He started playing football as a collegiate footballer and then played “Canadian Football League (CFL)” before retiring from the sports in 2008. Later he started training of wrestling like the rest of his family and done a deal with “World Wrestling Entertainment” in 2010. He Played his debut alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as “The Shield”. He qualified to enter single competitions in 2014. Roman Reigns has also won the title of “WWE World Heavyweight Champion”. He is also the winner of ‘United States Championship’ in wrestling. Roman Reigns fans are from all over the world and he has become very famous wrestler now a day. He also appeared in the “Countdown” an American action movie.

Roman Reigns Early Life

v Roman Reigns was born in “Anoa’i family” on 25^th May 1985 in Pensacola, Florida. His father name is “Leati ‘Sika’ Anoa’i”. He was also a Samoan professional wrestler of America.

v His brother name is “Matthew Anoa’i” and he is known by his ring name “Rosey”. Sports was the huge part of his life because he grew up in wrestler’s family. But he had a keen interest in football. He went to “Pensacola Catholic High School” and later went to “Escambia High School”. In both schools he took part in the school football team. This shows his interest in football.

v He had won many competitions in inter school and was titled “Defensive Player of the Year” by “Pensacola News Journal”. Because education was his top priority so he graduated from high school to get admission in “Georgia Institute of Technology”.

v He was captain of “Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets Football Team” in his college. In his final year he retired and turned to his family profession and started training as a wrestler. His brother “Rosey” who was an established wrestler that time gave him valuable advice for his career in wrestling.

Wrestling Career

v He played his debut match against “Richie Steamboat” and get ring name “Roman Leakee” in 2010. Unlucky, he lost his first match.

v First, he lost many couple matches and then he won singles match against fahd Rakma. He also took part in FCW tag team matches.

v Later he played with Deam Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match to become the first contender of the “FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship” but unlucky could not claim the title.

v This was not until he made his played his television debut on 18^th November 2012 alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins that he became a popular figure. Later he also made many victories in wrestling.

v When he won a four-way fatal match against Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens, he became the first contender to climb to the “WWE World Heavyweight Championship”.

v    Later he beat Alberto Del Rio in semi-final and later he beat Dean Ambrose in Final. Roman Reigns first time claimed the title of “WWE World Heavyweight Champion”.

v After beating Sheamus he claimed the title of “WWE World Heavyweight Champion” for the 2nd time.  Later he beat undertaker and became “WWE World Heavyweight Champion” for 3^rd time but later he was suspended due to violation of “WWE Wellness” and later he apologized on twitter.

v When “The Shield” split in 2014 then Roman Reigns was roped in the “World Title Contention” as a singles wrestler. To occupy a spot on the “WWE World Heavyweight Championship” ladder match he won a “Battle Royal” on 16th June 2014. Unlucky, he lost the title and then started a feud with a famous wrestler named “Randy Orton”.
 v Before “The Shield” split, Rollins’ betrayal caused enmity in Ambrose and Reigns. While Rollins beat five matches to Dean Ambrose then Roman Reigns challenged Rollins but Rollins beat him. However, getting his glory, he held the title of “WrestleMania” after beating Daniel Bryan via a pinfall. He challenged Big Show once again in April and won the match.

v His girlfriend name is Galina Joelle Becker and she is very beautiful. He dated her for many years and he also has a daughter from her who born on 14th December, 2008. Their daughter was a flower girl when Roman Reigns married with his girlfriend Galina in 2014.

v Roman Reigns is the only owner of his father property because his brother “Rosey” was died on 17^th April 2017 due to heart problem.  Next, he competed for the “Money in the Bank” Ladder Match in a feud against Bray Wyatt which was followed by a few defeats and disqualifications in the tag team rounds. Finally, Roman Reigns beat Wyatt in “Hell in Cell”.
